Company Response
If we have written about your product or company, you are welcome to respond. A fair account includes the company’s side, and we would rather hear from you than get something wrong.
What you can send us
- A correction: something in the article is factually wrong or out of date.
- Context: a fix, a redesign, a recall remedy or a policy change that readers should know about.
- A statement: your response to the complaints we describe, for publication.
What happens next
- We confirm that the message comes from the company, so please write from a company email address and tell us your role.
- We check any factual points and correct the article where we were wrong. See our corrections policy.
- Where it helps readers, we publish your statement in a clearly labelled “Company response” box alongside the article, with the date we received it.
Good to know
- Published statements are presented as the company’s own words. We may shorten them, and we do not publish claims about named individuals or other companies.
- Sending a response does not guarantee a change to our verdict. If new evidence changes our view, we will update the article and say so.
- We do not accept payment to change, soften or remove coverage, and we do not remove accurate articles on request.
